Description

The TENORO model is a tenor saxophone reed that impresses with its flexible yet extremely powerful tone
and is preferred by all saxophonists precisely because of its soft, warm tone.

State-of-the-art manufacturing technology:
The metal templates used in the machine production of saxophone reeds are manufactured in a unique
using the latest laser and computer technology, achieving a degree of accuracy
of 1/1000 mm. Thanks to specially developed planing blades and cutting angles determined by computer simulation,
Alexander Pilgerstorfer has succeeded in producing the smoothest cuts and reed undersides.
All ‘Pilgerstorfer saxophone reeds’ are therefore absolutely symmetrical, which
greatly improves their vibration behavior.
